Hey, I’m Rich — Founder of MaintainHQ, WordPress developer turned full-stack software engineer with a passion for building tools that actually do the work, not just look nice, I also built POPGuide, and my freelance studio WonkyPixel.
I’ve been in the WordPress world long enough to know what breaks, what scales, and what burns out freelancers. MaintainHQ is the answer to that — a smarter way to manage updates, SEO, clients, tasks, and even AI assistance, all under one roof.
By trade, I’m a lead software engineer who still enjoys getting hands-on with DNS configs, custom APIs, Laravel, GitOps, and the WordPress core. But I’m also a designer at heart (with a soft spot for crisp UI, clean UX, and the occasional accidental pixel obsession).
My recently launched project is: POP Guide (https://popguide.co.uk) which is: Your Ultimate Funko Pop Collection Manager
Track, value, and showcase your Funko Pop collection with real-time market data, comprehensive management tools, and a community of passionate collectors.
Outside of code? 🧙♂️ I’m a proud MMPR collector, hoarder of manly Loungefly bags, and massive Lord of the Rings nerd. 📦 My office has more “collector’s items” than shelf space. 🎮 And yes, I can fix your DNS and tell you which Fellowship member had the best character arc.
If you’re into WordPress, SaaS, automation, or just want to follow a northern lad building something loud, bold, and (hopefully) useful — you’re in the right place.
Beyond the Code:
🎮 MMPR collector
🎒 Loungefly enthusiast (yes, the manly ones exist)
🧙♂️ Massive LOTR fan
🤓 Professional geek
